I love being a portrait photographer.
I enjoy portrait photography because I find it rewarding to help people feel good about being in front of the camera.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm reading, writing, hiking, or finding fun things to do with the family. I like tacos, popcorn, romantic comedies, mysteries, throwing parties, picnics, attending random festivals, gardening, and attempting to be crafty.
I love portrait photography because it gives me a chance to work with people to create a lasting image that showcases who they are and that they will be proud to hang on the wall or show off in an album. As a photographer, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is when someone tells me, "I don't usually like having my picture taken, but this was a lot of fun."
